IMPORTANT OPERATIONAL NOTE:  

• When putting in the batteries, ensure that the direction & poles of the batteries & battery cover are correctly placed, as stated on the toy!  When placed wrongly, the motor will not operate when the toy is placed in the water & the cover will not be fitted tightly, resulting in water entering into the battery unit & thus causing the batteries to be shorted & the metal parts to become rusty quickly!!
• ALWAYS ensure that the battery cover is place in the right direction & aligned properly on the battery unit before tightening the screws securely. The battery cover SHOULD NOT stick out when placed correctly after the screws are tightened
• If the motor of the toy DOES NOT turn when the toy is placed in the water, quickly remove the toy from water, dry the toy with a piece of cloth. Check that the batteries & battery cover are placed correctly & if the toys still do not work, try replacing the 2 batteries with new non-alkaline ones
• As there is no switch on the toy, after using, the motor will still continue to operate as long as the boat is wet. Lightly try to shake the water out & place the boat on its sides to allow it to dry. DO NOT place on wet surface with the boat downwards as this will continue to cause the motor to be connected & the batteries to be drained out quickly
• When the toy is not in use for a few days, remove the batteries from the unit to increase the lifetime of the batteries & the toy
